Pay Review Letter
Employees expect you to be formal when discussing their pay, and they expect you to review their pay regularly – to keep pace at minimum with inflation or consumer price index changes. When you review an employee’s pay, you are required to follow a process, and that the process must be made clear to all employees – so that they know what to expect from you. One of the required steps is the formal follow-up letter to the employee about their pay review. Information as to when the pay rise/salary increase will commence, and how much it is for.
