This is a standard Parental Leave Policy document referring to the Parental Leave & Employment Protection Act, including a more in depth clause with multiple options for employers who require a compliant policy for their policies & standards manual.

Parental Leave requirements have changed over recent years and in particular, paid parental leave in New Zealand – to enable new parents as much time as possible to be spent with new born babies before returning to work either part or full time.

Employers are required to be supportive & flexible for new parents – and of course to comply with all legal & compliance requirements.
