Force Majeure Policy

Force Majeure is an employment agreement clause.

Force majeure covers the employer if there is a natural disaster, workplace fire, or any unforseen circumstances or events where the employee is not able to perform what they are employed to do, and details what actions will take place in the instance of specific force majeure taking place.

This document specifies your overall company policy on Force Majeure. Individual Employment Agreements must also specify the agreed arrangement around Force Majeure for each individual (which must comply with your overall policy.

NOTE: You must get agreement with your employee for the clause in the employment agreement.
