Abandonment of Employment Termination Letter #2
The final letter of notification sent to an employee when their employment is terminated for abandonment, sent to the employee’s last known address.
Please note that employers are expected and required to have current address details for all employees available on their employee file.
This letter would be issued when the employer has tried to contact the employee using texts, phone, emails and so on, but haa had no contact whatsoever from the employee in reply, as per the abandonment clause in the individual employment agreement.
